We are seeing the most overdoses resulting in death in the Northern part of the county, Hudson and North New Port Richey. We are responding IMMEDIATELY to this crisis by teaming up with the Pasco Recovery Community Organization (RCO) and Grace House to field Narcan to those most vulnerable. BEGINNING TODAY, we have 2,000 doses of Narcan ready to distribute. We would like to get these in the hands of people in need, not necessarily providers. We can give them to providers if they are giving them directly out to clients, but our focus is on the substance user's themselves. If you know someone who needs Narcan, please have them call 727-255-2036 and ask for Rachel Starostin.
